Barack Obama

Change

History was made on Tuesday June 3rd, 2008 with the nomination of Barack Obama for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. His rise as a political wonder boy has been monumental and will be marked forever as an example of what true determination can do.

Born on the Hawaiian Island of Honolulu. He was the product of a short lived marriage between a Kenyan Immigrant and an American woman. Barack’s childhood was filled with change. He lived in Indonesia for a time with his mother and her second husband. Later moving back to America to finish school.

He attended Columbia University in New York City, graduating in 1983. He went on to attend Harvard where he became the first African American President of the Harvard Law Review.
Perhaps a promise for things to come.

There is something almost magical about Barack Obama. The whole country seems swept up in his message of Change and more importantly Change that people can believe in.

Growing up Bi-racial in a unforgiving America had to be hard for the young boy wonder but all the new things that he saw helped to mold him into what he is today.

He speaks very honestly in his autobiography about his dabbling in recreational drugs and it is that burst of fresh air honesty that gives Barack the ability to inspire all. Barack speaks out on those issues that have divided America and seeks to unite with his message of change. Perhaps in November we will have the ultimate change and will be calling the Illinois Senator…Mr. President.
