Chef Marcus Samuelsson

He's most certainly GQ status. I really like his neck ties. I think I'll have to get some fashion tips from guys, mix it up. Look at him sitting in that chair. He reminds me of a royal African Swedish chef prince. lol

My sister went to Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster restaurant and she said the food is absolutely amazing! Before you go you must make reservations.

"I am a design junkie, an addict, I have compulsive design disorder, I am a design pervert, a fanatik, a buff, a design freak, a design zealot! I am a cultural shaper, i am a cultural editor, I am on a democratic design mission, I create, therefore I am"

Karim Rashid's work is really awesome be sure to support him. I saw him at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport , he's really nice and funny!

I have a confession , he reminds me of myself. If I had a male twin he would be as close as it gets..lol

I'm always pushing myself . I work best under pressure and i don't buckle. I always have to plan for the next. I move very quickly because my brain is super active. If you think you are the best and you give 110% It's perfectly fine to say "I'm The Best" . Every challenge I surpass gives me confidence (no haughtiness ) and the strength to succeed the next! InshAllah:)

Bloomberg Travel and Luxury

Luxury is More Than Money

The News Redefined

Have you strolled through luxury? Often belittled into the depth of monetary equity, we see that it elevates past that superficial title into a regimen. It requires culture and maintenance, ripened through the relentless education of humanities and possession. Possession of the materialistic, as well as the intangible: of veracity, entitlement, flexibility, and wealth. It renames the pessimistic attributes of aristocracy from their ill-conceived bitter reputation, to their pure form of philanthropic love. Ownership at it’s finest point –compassion and knowledge. If luxury flourishes from the pride of transcendence, then it privileges itself away from ignorance by enlightenment.

There is nobility in all emotion, but often the only immortalized are from solemnness, despair, and melancholy. Allow Bloomberg to show you the other side; of nurturing euphoria, and experiencing the world.

So readers, stroll on. Enlighten yourself!

Korean Festival

Traditional Korean wrestling Hangul: 씨름

"Ssireum is a sport quite similar to Japanese sumo. While the two athletes try to push the other out of the ring in sumo, ssireum athletes use various techniques with their legs, arms and torso to bring the other down on the sand."

More than three decades ago, hanboka traditional form of Korean clothing, was very much a part of every Korean's wardrobe. Like all clothing, hanbok also changed over the years with fluctuating fashion trends. Hanbok designs underwent many changes throughout Korea's turbulent history. The hanbok we wear today are reminiscent of the late Joseon Dynasty (early 20th century).
In traditional hanbok design, curved features are important. As they are not meant to be tight fitting, the inherent beauty of hanbok is apparent in its elegance and style created by the abundance of material. The curves and vibrant colours of hanbok have had a significant impact on the Korean fashion industry. By combining traditional dress with modern fashion, a series of fusion hanbok designs were introduced. Designs and patterns of hanbok have even been applied to architecture.

La Résidence House O' Luv

Modern vintage flare furniture
There's plenty to adore!
Each time I visit a furniture store I think to myself, I have to get the hell out of here! And that's why I haven't done much decorating.
But before winter, I’m looking for an autumn reform: guessing this is what a romantic residence is supposed to feel like. And when your friends and family come over saying "THIS SPACE FEELS SEXY," you can smile in admiration.
Now that's the reaction I'm looking for.

New York Garment District

“New York’s reputation as a global fashion capital is under threat with the city’s once bustling garment district facing extinction, experts say.”

Juki LU-562 Walking Foot Needle Feed Industrial Sewing Machine

What a beautiful sewing machine!I'm looking to invest in a great sewing machine which has  a strong engine. When I was 12 years, I use to sew with my grandmothers during summer break. She taught me how to sew dresses and coats. We use to go to fabric stores every weekend and spend hours looking at book patterns. She taught me how to iron, which to this day I avoid. She had an old statelessness iron. I really wish I had one. Perhaps I'll find one at a resale store:) Whenever I purchase electronics and machines I always read reviews, warranty policies and refund policies.

Bon Retour! Bienvenue Chez Toi!

Je suis amoureuse

En Avion!

Guys, remember last month’s storm in New York., when all departing flights were delayed or cancelled? Well, the week my sister and I had planned to return from our vacation coincidentally coincided with the storm. My sister’s flight home was cancelled and she believed herself to be stranded in the Washington airport for the next two days. A friend gladly took her in.  I, on the other hand, was stuck at the freezing airport to return home only five hours later than expected. I spent hours writing, revising, sending and checking emails. I believe I got plenty of work done despite the reoccurring shivers and stomach growling for real food.  The airport desk attendant gave me plenty of peppermints each time I approached him concerning the status of the flight. Eventually I became frustrated and blurted, "Why the hell do you keep giving me candy, tell me when I’ll be able to board a flight". Due to the mints, by that time, he knew that I had some fresh breath.  In my travel bag was placed an expensive box of truffles purchased for my darling. It took 30 minutes to select the chocolates that fit his taste. But in all honesty I was seriously debating whether to eat them or not. I didn’t want to ruin that perfect packaging, in which the girl so delicately laced. I was convinced that she had been previously enrolled in some type of   ribbon tying class. Anyhow, I eventually arrived home. Seeking pity from my loved one, I whined about how cold and hungry I felt. I felt revived by the sympathy given. I showed him the truffles and he uninterestingly expressed his gratitude. Annoyed at 4:55 am, I grabbed a cup of ice. During my time spent at the airport, I'd envisioned a vibrant happy reaction. Although feeling very fatigued, irritated and ill, I was overjoyed to be back in bed. The following day, I woke up late afternoon and ate each and every last truffle. In reality, I think I wanted them for myself all along

Bien bien, Je suis desole:)
