Ray Mortenson’s rarely exhibited black-and-white photographs of the South Bronx, made between 1982 and 1984, are featured in a new exhibition at the Museum of the City of New York called “Broken Glass.”

I know a priest that went up to the Bronx in this time and he said the only buildings standing around him was his church and a school...

He helped rebuild...

Now everything is built up and safe with families and happiness :)
