Athens-based Kostantinos Labrinopoulos originally founded KLMF architects with fellow-architect Miltos Farmakis, before deciding to go on and set up his own practice in 2007 – k-lab, or Kinetic Lab of Architecture – taking up from where KLMF left off. Labrinopoulos graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and the SCI-Arc Southern California Institute of Architecture Los Angeles, with a special interest in residential architecture and the ways in which people inhabit architecture in general.
