The main tank at Okinawa’s Churaumi Aquarium in Japan holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water behind the world’s second largest acrylic glass pane (8.2 meters by 22.5 meters). Known as the ‘Kuroshio Sea,’ the tank houses whale sharks and manta rays among a plethora of fish.
